I'm really sorry for the lost of Laurence. When I lose someone in death I like to read the bible for comfort. One scripture I like is in Acts chapter 24 verse 15 because it gives a hope that people who have passed away will be resurrected here on earth.

Dear Nancy & Family:; With great sadness I read of Larry's passing. He was a true friend and as you know, we shared many enjoyable times together during our more active years in Elkdom. And no need to tell you---Yes, he was an extremely dedicated
Elk with many accomplishments, not only for Winsted Elks, but for the State Association and The Grand Lodge as well.
May he rest in peace,
With sincere sympathy,
Gordon

Again, we as an extended family mourn the passing of a another member. Larry was an inspiration to all of us as he soldiered through his health issues. I will miss the chats we had, the stories and the family histories. Sorry I will not be able to attend services, but I will be with you all in spirit.

To Nancy and all the children grandchildren and great grand child, It makes us sad to have to say goodby to another grand member of our extended family. We enjoyed sitting and chatting with Larry and Nancy at the Elks suppers and at family functions. He will be missed by many. I'm sorry we will not be able to attend the calling hours or funeral, as Carolyn and sisters will be away for a few days during that time. You all will be in our thoughts and prayers. Sending hugs over the airwaves to you, Nancy.
