Frank Gerald Caler

Frank G. Caler, 81, of Winsted passed away in Charlotte Hungerford Hospital on May 2, 2015.  He was the son of the late Frank T. Caler and Alice G. Caler.  Frank was predeceased by a brother, William T. Caler and sister, Irene D. Caler.  He was gorn in Sharon, CT on May 31, 1933.  Frank's passion lay in his mini movie theater which he built in the early 70's.  Frank enjoyed watching his 8 millimeter and 16 millimeterr films.  Prior to his retirement, he worked cleaning the local banks and at the Torrington Cold Stone Creamery.  Frank was always there to lend a helping hand to others.  It is amazing how many lives Frankie touched throughout his 81 years.  He will be missed by many.  He will always be in our hearts.  A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 14, at 8:00 PM at the Maloney Funeral Home 55 Walnut Street, Winsted.  Friends may call at the funeral home from 6:00 PM until the time of the service.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may ber made to a charity of the donors choice.  To leave an online condolence, please visit www.maloneyfuneral.com.
