Owen Brice Nelligan

Owen Brice Nelligan, age 15, passed away unexpectedly on September 20, 2018. Born on December 12, 2002, Owen was loved beyond measure by his family, friends, teachers, and coaches. He will be forever remembered by his parents, Kevin and Peg Nelligan of Colebrook, his brother, Brendan K. Nelligan and his fiancée Kristen Murray of Madison, his sister Scout Nelligan of Hull, Massachusetts, and brother Patrick F. Nelligan of New Haven.  He is survived by his Grammie, Joan Nelligan of Winsted, his Uncle Sean, Uncle Skipper, Uncle Peter, and Uncle Joe, his Auntie Leenie, Auntie Kate, Aunt Denise, Aunt Linda and by his many loving cousins, Grace and Jack Carpenter, Liam and Owain Nelligan, Greg and Mike Nadler, Anne and Nate Schmidt, and John, Peter, and Maggie Belanger. He was predeceased by his Papa Francis Nelligan, Papa Peter Brice Belanger, and Nanny Mary Belanger. Friends and family are asked to call between 4 and 7 on Monday, September 24, at Maloney Funeral Home, 55 Walnut Street, Winsted. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 25 at St. Joseph’s Church, 31 Oak Street, Winsted, Connecticut with burial to follow at Saint Joseph’s Cemetery on Torringford Street.
