Debra Kenneson Obituary

Harwinton:  Debra Kenneson passed away on February 1, 2020, the seventh child of Albert Joseph and Bertha (Murphy) Kenneson.  Debra believed in life-long learning and enjoyed a full life with family and friends.  She was born in Waterbury, CT on January 5, 1954, one of ten children.  Deb had 16 nieces and nephews and 24 great nieces and nephews, two of whom were as close as if they were her own children. Deb tried several professions and decided on working as a CPA for nearly 35 year.  She enjoyed making relationships with both her clients and other professionals of whom she shared clients. Deb was very community minded and held both directorships and treasurerships on several local boards including the Girl Scout Council of NW CT, Susan B. Anthony Project and the Warner Theater. Deb's early years were spent at Cinema IV in Bantam where she was exposed to foreign cultures through a variety of foreign films. Deb was predeceased by three brothers, Arthur Joseph, David Michael and James William.  She is survived by siblings Douglas Kenneson and his wife Terri of Colebrook, Shirley Gorski of Dallas, TX, Al and wife Laura of Sparks, NV, Leonard and wife Trudy of Newalla, OK, Tim Kenneson and wife Yvette of Gautier, MS and Grace Feliciano and husband Pete of Cape May Courthouse, NJ.  A memorial service will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Warner Theater.
