Scott Henry Centrella

Winsted:  Scott Henry Centrella, 29, passed away suddenly on Saturday, October 27, 2018, while attending an outing in Amsterdam, New York.  Born in Hartford, CT, July 20, 1989, he was the son of Craig and Pamela (Henry) Centrella and had lived in this area all of his life.  He had attended local schools and was a graduate of the Torrington High School.  Scott had an affinity for tinkering with anything that had a motor, loved dirt biking, quads, fishing and his cats. In addition to his parents, Scott is survived by aunts & uncles, Gayle & Jim Falardeau of Gilmanton, NH, Noel & Kim Bodwell of ME, Dawn & Marty Moore of Alton, NH, Claire O’Dell of Colebrook, CT,  Jackie Centrella of Winsted and Randy & Barbara Centrella of FL, several cousins, Kristen, Matthew, January, John, Ryan, Amy, Ian, Brittany, Zachery, Natalie,  Nicholas, and very best friend, Kylie.  He was predeceased by his grandparents, Dorothy and John Henry and Guilio & Margery Centrella.  Calling hours are on Thursday, November 1, 5-8 PM at the Maloney Funeral Home 55  Walnut Street, Winsted.  A funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, November 2, at 10:00 AM, at St. Joseph Church in Winsted. The burial will follow in St. Joseph new Cemetery.
