To Pat & Family,
So sorry for your loss! She was a wonderful lady, and raised wonderful children. We lived in a great neighborhood. Sorry I missed the services.

Patrick, Peter, Jean, Francis, Agnes, Tim: What a woman your mother was! Her strength, her love, her tirelessness, blended with her lightness of heart, now shine on in all of you. How lucky you were to have her for your mom.

Softly Sprinkled Rain
By Greg O'Brien

A flower closes
as it dances on a twilight breeze
the clouds float by
as the sun says goodnight
and nothing seems changed
as the glow fades from sight
But this day is different
because of one silenced voice
a loved one has left us
and we’re faced with a choice
Do we renew our faith
and be thankful for time
or simply grieve with questions
and look for a sign
For it can be easy to show anger
or perhaps to feel blame
but instead simply remember
as you whisper their name
Strive to remember the joy
of the laughter once shared
and to make them a promise
that they’ll always be here
That you will include them in thought
as each new day dawns
whispering their name softly
as each day rolls on
For they will surely return this favor
as they help ease your pain
by opening flowers with gentle breezes
and softly sprinkled rain

Dear Jean, Ag, Pat, Paul, Francis, and Tim,

We send you and your families our deepest condolences with the passing of your Mom. What an amazing woman she was to raise such a large and wonderful family and keep doing so much for so many others throughout her long and productive life. She instilled in you all the importance of doing good work with each and every day the Lord grants us and her legacy of generosity and kindness will live on in each of you and the many wonderful grandchildren that she loved so dearly. Though she wasn't able to attend the ceremony for Rachel and Stephen, her presence in that hallowed space was palpable with so many of your family all there.
We wish you all the peace in knowing that she is at rest and out of pain at long last.
Sincerely, Star and Michelle

To my cousins,
I'm very sorry to hear of your mom's passing. My mom always enjoyed her 'front porch' visits. She was a very caring and special person. May God give you and your families strength in your time of loss.
