Patricia Ann DiMartino

Simsbury:  Patricia Ann DiMartino, 82, formerly of Winsted, died Sunday, January 21, 2018, at the McLean Home in Simsbury after a long illness.  She was the wife of the late Dominic F. DiMartino who died in 1996.  Born in Winsted, July 26, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Salvatore and Laura (DiCara) Grasso.  She had attended local schools and had graduated from The Gilbert School, class of 1953.  Prior to her retirement she had worked for Sterling Engineering and SweeCo.  She was a member of the Auxiliary for Community Health and the Winchester Historical Society.  Her survivors include two sons, Robert B. DiMartino of Newbury, MA and Richard A. DiMartino of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; a brother, Maurice (Beverly) Grasso of Barkhamsted, four grandchildren, Brian, Katherine, Jenna & Laura and three nieces, JoAnne Centurelli, Susan Catrini and Lisa Neher.  A funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, February 9, 2018, at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph Church in Winsted.  Burial will be in St. Joseph new Cemetery in the spring.  There are no calling hours.  Memorial contributions may be made to St. Anthony School in Winsted, or The Alzheimer’s Foundation of America.  To leave an online condolence, please visit www.maloneyfuneral.com.
