ACTON, Maine – M. Ann Germon, 83, died peacefully at her home on Oct. 20, 2018, with her husband of 63-plus years at her side. Born in Winsted, August 22, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Loyal S. and Maria (Mary) (LaFlamme) Humphrey. Ann had also lived in New Hampshire before moving to Maine. She was a good cook, loved all kinds of crafts, knitting, sewing, stenciling and taking care of her family. A 1953 Gilbert School graduate in Winsted, CT, she retired as an executive secretary for the Ensign Bickford Company in Simsbury, CT. She fought the devastating effects of dementia with the courage and dignity that she lived her life. In addition to her loving husband, Richard, she will be greatly missed by her children, Bonnie (David) Boratko, William (Gail) Germon and Deborah Germon, along with her four grandchildren, Bryce, Christina, Kara and Haile; five great-grandchildren, Lola, Grayson, Lilyan, Wes and Kayle. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a one sister, Marie MacPherson and a brother, Frederick (Fred) Humphrey. A celebration of her and Deborah’s life will be celebrated on Saturday, July 5, 2019, from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM with a service at 11:30 PM at Maloney Funeral Home 55 Walnut Street, Winsted.
