As a former Captain of the fire police i would like to thank Leon s family for his valuable service to the fire dept as a Lt and Deputy Chief of the fire police company .He showed me alot if insight to the company dept . When i was younger i practically grew up around Pam and Lynn as they used to baby sit me . Leon was also there the day i was born because he worked with my father in Rocky Hill and with my grandfather the late Frank Carfiro at Winsted precision ball .To me i will always call him Uncle Leon .RIP in Chief. I did follow in your foot steps by being a county coordinator for Conn Fire Police Assoc. my prayers and thoughts go out to the family .He is no longer suffering .

Yvonne and family, My sincere condolences to U,Lynne and Pam. Leon was a good guy and a wonderful neighbor back in the day. I miss my old home and friends there.You always looked out for us especially when my dad was alive. Leon will be missed very much. Please keep in touch with the family. Miss and love U all.
