The Bible says: “Death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them.” (Revelation 20:13, 14, KJ) Emptying “hell” will mean restoring to life all those whom God judges worthy of a resurrection. (John 5:28, 29; Acts 24:15) What a marvelous hope for the future—seeing our dead loved ones brought back from the grave! The God of infinite love, will do this. How kind God is. God does not like to see us suffer. He loves mankind. Want more comfort here's my email

I am so sorry to hear about John's passing. I pray that God will give Grace and comfort to those who are grieving. Psalm 30:5 in the King James Bible, "weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning." Trust that God will give you Grace and strength to get through this difficult time.

John will always be remembered for his ease of disposition, willingness of heart and devotion to doing what is right for others. He was a good, good man and will be missed by many in his second hometown of Litchfield. Peace to the family and all who were touched by him being a part of our lives.

John, my student, my friend, you will be missed not only by me but by every persons life you touched. Your wit, kindness, compassion and patience, were all qualities that drew people to you. Your knowledge of how to fix anything was unparalleled. What will we do without you my friend?
Your love for Patti and Amber was heart warming, deep and beautiful. You are now their angel, John, watching over them. I know you will keep them forever safe and they will always & forever have you in their hearts.
Until we meet again my friend, rest in peace. Jeff

John, you were such a beautiful person. You exuded love everywhere you went. The world was definitely a better place with you in it. Heaven is very fortunate to have you there, but Patti & Amber will be so lost without you by their sides. You loved them both so much and I know you will be reaching from heaven everyday to continue to give them love and support. Farewell my friend. Love you John, Mary

John's presence at LHS will be remembered for a very long time. John was a hard-working, kind man who was dedicated to his job and the people that worked here. We enjoyed his sense of humor, and how he always figured out a very clever solution to any situation. May the kindness he easily shared with others bring you peace in the days ahead.

John was a wonderful coworker and friend. He would do anything for anyone and always had a smile and a wave to share at school. The hallways won't be the same. I'm so very sorry for your loss.

John was my partner on the Winsted Ambulance for 9 years. John was always very soft spoken and never got angry. He had patience of a saint. John will be missed by many but especially the two that shared all their time together with him, Patti and Amber.
He will always look after you two. He loved you both very much. We lost a great man but gained another special angel. RIP my friend.

Patti- I was absolutely shocked when I heard of John's passing. Please know that you and Amber are in my prayers, as well as everyone else. John truly was a wonderful person. He was always there to help others in need. I joined WAAA because of him and his kindness. He was instrumental in the construction of the new building at 655 Main St, though I still remember the old one! In fact, his picture is on the wall, for all to see, each day, he's preparing the American Flag to fly over our new building. He will always be remembered!

I was deeply saddened to hear of Johns passing. I worked with John for several years while I was Medic 6 in Winsted. What a wonderful kind person John was. He really put Winsted Ambulance and it's members before himself. We was the glue that held everything together! I'm sorry I can't be there in person as I live in South Carolina. God speed-John..

Patti & Amber-
We were so incredibly blessed to live next to John (and you both) for the last 10 years. He was the true embodiment of the term "neighbor". We're thankful for all of the times he cleared our snowed-in driveway without ever being asked, for the tools that he lent us, for his smiling face & friendly wave every time he saw any of us. Natalie will especially miss their chats outside when he would let her pet Lexi.

His kind spirit will be missed but never forgotten. Words cannot express how sorry we are for your loss!! We will continue to be here if you need anything, though... because that's what John would do. Many hugs and prayers.

Patti, we were shocked to hear of the death of John. He was such a great guy and we will always remember his smile and wave as he would pass us 10-15 times a day working. There is going to be such an emptiness at the camp, no one will be able to fill his shoes. We recall John as being one of the first people that we met and he wanted to know if he could help us with anything. He was always trying to help everyone, just was his great nature. What a great dad, Amber, you were always by his side with him teaching you the ropes. We sure are going to rely on you for your dad's wisdom now. You can not imagine how much everyone is going to miss him at camp. Our prayers are with you Amber and you Patti at this difficult time. Saying prayers that the Lord may ease your sorrow.
