Jeffery Thomas Carroll

Jeffery Thomas Carroll, 47, passed away suddenly on Thursday, August 22, 2019.  He was born in Winsted July 26, 1972. The son of Michael J. Carroll of Colebrook, CT and Ginger Newman of Winsted, CT.  Jeffery lived in Winsted all of his life, he was a student at the Gilbert School and received varsity letters in soccer and basketball. Jeffery was extremely athletic and loved sports. He loved spending time with his friends and had a great sense of humor.  He liked playing jokes and pranks on his family and friends. Jeffery really enjoyed eating good food and his favorite was meatballs.  He enjoyed mystical movies and comedies, fast cars and fancy cars. Jeffery had a heart the size of a large pizza, a piece for everyone.  He was a generous man that would give you the shirt off his back if he knew you needed it.  Jeffery loved music, especially Johnny Cash. He had a child like innocence about him and loved children, after all he was a big kid himself.  Jeffery got along with everyone he encountered and his humor was contagious. He enjoyed having coffee with his grandmother Roberta Newman. He also enjoyed spending time with his best friend and brother, Michael.  Jeffery would share anything with anyone, except his moon pies "don't touch my moon pies".  Jeffery is so loved and will be missed by many, till we meet again ...In addition to his parents, grandmother, and brother, he is survived by several aunts, uncles and lots of cousins.  A celebration of his life will be held on Tuesday, September 10, 2019 from 5-8 PM at the Maloney Funeral Home 55 Walnut Street, Winsted.
