Deborah Marie Germon

WINDSOR – Deborah M. Germon 59, died with courage and dignity on Feb. 27, 2019, in Hartford, CT, from a lengthy illness. She was born Jan. 13, 1960 in LaGrange, IL, the daughter of Richard Germon and the late Margaret Ann (Humphrey) Germon. She was a National Honor Society graduate from Northwest Regional #7, in Barkhamsted.  Deb enjoyed the challenge of the financial industry earning her MBA with honors from the University of Hartford. She lived in Windsor, and held management positions at various insurance companies in the Hartford area until her illness forced her to focus on herself.  Her love of tennis, music, theater and the arts as well as her circle of friends and loving family gave her hope that she might just beat this and continued working until her health took a dramatic turn last summer. In addition to her father, she is survived by a sister, Bonnie (David) Boratko; a brother, Bill (Gail) Germon; and her nieces, nephew, grandnieces and grandnephew. She is at peace with her mother, M. Ann Germon, who died October 2018. A celebration of their lives will be at Maloney Funeral Home in Winsted, CT on Friday July 5, 2019 at 11:00 AM, Memorial services at 11:30 AM.
