She was my teacher almost 40 years ago and the kind of teacher you remember 40 years later.

I am heartbroken for the loss of such a wonderful lady. I will always have fond memories of Mrs. Coffin, as my sweetest and most kind school teacher and of our time together in 'A Christmas Carol', where she played a hilarious and unforgettable Charity Lady. My sincere condolences to her family.

I am sorry for your loss. She was first grade teacher at Barkhamsted Elementary school and I had so much fun in her class. I'm grateful to have known her.

So sorry to hear if Mrs. Coffin's passing! She was my first grade teacher and was such a sweet gentle lady. My parents particularly loved her as one of my teachers. She lived down the road from my parents, and up to even a few months ago-she would ask my dad how I was doing-30 years later! What a special woman....my condolences to her family.
