Robert Jerome Fallon

Colebrook:  Robert Jerome Fallon, 83, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Monday, July 4, 2016.  He was the husband of Beverly (Moss) Masters Fallon and the late Janet D. (Zecchin) Fallon who died in 1982.  Born in North Canaan, August 30, 1932, he was the son of the late Jeremiah and Roberta (Fitzgerald) Fallon and had lived in NW CT all of his life.  Prior to his retirement, he had worked for many years at Wilshire in Burrville, CT.  He was an avid hunter and fisherman and was a founding member of the Canaan Valley Sporting Club.  He was also a life long communicant of St. Joseph Church in Winsted.  In addition to his loving wife of 21 years, he is survived by his two children, Linda Fallon of Plymouth, CT and Steven Fallon of Winsted; two grandsons, Steven Fallon and Christopher Gilbar; a great grandson Jude Fallon; five step children; two brothers, Jeremiah Fallon of Canaan and Peter Fallon of Venice, FL; a sister, Cathy Warner of Auburndale, FL and several nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by a sister, Mary Rose Sherwood and a brother, Patrick Fallon.  Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 8, 10:30 AM from the Maloney Funeral Home 55 Walnut Street, Winsted, to St. Joseph Church for the funeral liturgy at 11:00 AM.  Burial will follow in St. Joseph new Cemetery.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, 5-8 PM.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to LARC, 314 Main Street, Torrington, CT 06790.  To leave an online condolence, Please visit www.maloneyfuneraL.com.
