John Wesley Stocker, Jr.

Winsted:  John W. Stocker, Jr. 68, passed away on Thursday, January 21, 2016 at his home, following a lengthy illness.  Born April 8, 1947 in Winsted, he was the son of the late John and Evelyn (Bonhotel) Stocker, and had lived here all his life.  Prior to his illness, he had been a self employed property maintenance man for many years.  He was a graduate of The Gilbert School and was a US Army Veteran during the Vietnam War.  His survivors include an aunt, Alice Lewis of Torrington, several cousins and a close friend, Rebecca (Becky) Balfour of Winsted. A memorial service will be held on Monday, February 22, 2016 at 3:00 PM at the Knights of Columbus on Marshall Street in Winsted with the Rev. Lin McGee and the Rev.
