Jill Anne Speer

Bridgeport: Jill A. Speer, 57, passed away on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at St. Vincent's Hospital following a lengthy illness. She was the wife of Alfred Speer. Born in Norwalk, January 21, 1958, she was the Daughter of Frances (Cross) Hope and the late John I. Campbell. Jill was a member of the Norwalk First United Methodist Church and had worked at the Notre Dame Convalescent Home for 30 years. In addition to her husband of 27 years and her Mother and stepfather, Bob of Winsted, she is survived by her brother, Mark Campbell of Bridgeport; two sisters, Sue Bessette and her husband Ron and Lynn Deschampsand her husband Chris, all of Winsted and several nieces and nephews. A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, March 28, at 2:00 PM at the Winsted United Methodist Church, 630 Main Street, Winsted, with the Rev. Florence Eddins officiating.
