Jane Mary Lemelin

Woburn, MA:  Jane M. Lemelin, 74, formerly of Winsted, passed away on Wednesday, April 22, 2015, following a long and extended illness.  Born in Winsted, September 30, 1940, Jane was the daughter of the late J. Arthur and Lina (Bernard) Lemelin.  Jane entered the convent in Allegany, NY, after graduating from The Gilbert School in Winsted, CT.  She taught school in the Bronx, NY, Waterbury, CT and Tewksbury, MA.  After leaving the convent, she remained in Woburn, MA and retired from Central Steel Supply Co. in 2005.  Jane is survived by her sister, Loretta Spring and her husband Albert of Southington, CT, two nephews, Frank Spring of Waterbury, CT and Rich Spring of Southington, CT. Jane also leaves her best friend and second sister, Annette Palermo of Woburn, MA, John Palermo, Vinnie Palermo and Vinnie Palermo, Jr of MA.  She was predeceased by her brother, J. Arthur Lemelin, Jr.  Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 27, 10:30 AM from the Maloney Funeral Home 55 Walnut Street to St. Joseph Church for the funeral liturgy at 11:00 AM.  Burial will be at the convenience of the family.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday, 2-4 PM.  To leave an online condolence, please visit www.maloneyfuneral.com..
