Inez Edith Coligan

Winsted:  Inez Edith Coligan, 87, passed away on Monday, June 29, 2015 at her home.  She was the wife of the late James E. Coligan.  Born in Winsted, October 29, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Victor and  Jennie "Jane" (Sarto) Zecchin and had lived here all of her life.  Prior to her retirement, she had worked at Son Chief Electric and for the school lunch program after her daughters started school.  She was a graduate of The Gilbert School and a communicant of St. Joseph Church.  Inez is survived by two daughters, Jamie J. Coligan and Karen (Darcy) Davis all of Vernon; 2 granddaughters, Hillary Davis and Hannah Davis; a sister, Veronica Zecchin of Winsted; a niece, Loraine Ann Rebillard of Canton and several other nieces, nephews and cousins.  She was predeceased by a brother, Victor Zecchin and a sister, Genevieve Ribillard.  A funeral mass celebrating her life will be held on Monday, July 13, at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Church.  There are no calling hours.  Burial will be at the convenience of the family.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Association of CT, 2075 Silas Deane Highway, Rocky Hill, CT 06067 or to the American Cancer Society 825 Brook Street, I-91 Tech Center, Rocky Hill , CT 06067-3045.  To leave an online condolence, please visit www.maloneyfuneral.com.
