Eric Robert Crossman

West Palm Beach, FL:  Eric Robert Crossman, 29, was unexpectedly and sadly taken from his loving family and friends on Monday, May 4, 2015.  Eric was born in Torrington, CT on September 25, 1985, son of the late Richard (Buffy) Crossman and Kathy (Marchi) Fallon.  In the short time the world was blessed to have Eric, he resided in CT, Puerto Rico, NC, GA and FL.  He played basketball for The Gilbert School and graduated from there in 2004.  He served in the US Coast Guard.  He enjoyed golfing and was very passionate about all sports.  Eric was an unwavering Dallas Cowboys and New York Yankees fan.  Most of all, Eric's favorite thing was spending time with family and friends.  Eric was known for his huge heart and devotedly loved and cared for everyone.  Besides his mother, Kathy and his step-father, Richard Fallon, Eric leaves behind his three brothers, Ryan Fallon, Dylan Crossman & Robert Crossman; sister, Nicole Crossman; maternal grandparents, Peter & Carmela Marchi and paternal grandparents, Donald (Grump) & Nancy Crossman; several aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and many many friends.  We bid you goodbye, dear Eric, our son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend.  You will be missed more than we can bear.  With broken hearts you are deeply and forever loved.  Your life, a beautiful memory sprinkled with tears.  Your absence, a silent grief.  Calling hours will be held on Monday, May 11, from 5 - 8 PM at the Maloney Funeral Home, 55 Walnut Street, Winsted.  In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be sent to a fund set up for Eric's siblings at:  Eric Crossman Memorial Fund C/O Northwest Community Bank, 86 Main Street, Winsted, CT 06098.  Burial will be at a later date at the convenience of the family.  To leave an online condolence, please visit www.maloneyfuneral.com.
