Emma Barbara Croxton

Torrington:  Emma Barbara Croxton, 84, died on July 11, 2016, at Valerie Manor with family and friends by her side.  Emma was born in Torrington, December 2, 1931, to the late Alice Khoury and Niam Fairhart.  She attended St. Anthony School, Gilbert and Bay Path College in MA.  Emma lived in Manchester, CT and was active at the Manchester Senior Center.  She enjoyed making ceramics at the classes taught there for many years.  She is survived by her sister, Renee Blanchette and husband Bill, who Emma adored.  A nephew, Brian Blanchette and his wife Mary; a niece, Diane Longabucco and her husband Mario and Several grand nieces and nephews.  A memorial mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph Church in Winsted, on Friday, July 22, at 11:00 AM.  Burial will be at the convenience of the family.  There are no calling hours.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Manchester Senior Center, 549 Middle Turnpike East, Manchester, CT 06042.  To leave an online condolence, please visit www.maloneyfuneral.com.
