Dear Family, I'm sad to hear that my Aunt Carol has passed away. She was an extraordinary woman, smart, tough, beautiful and stubborn. A grand matriarch who, with my Uncle Ray, launched many fine & lovely souls into the world. I always enjoyed visiting the family in Berlin ad Winsted, she was a generous hostess, Carol lived a good long life and was truly one of a kind. You have my deep sympathies. I wish I was able to be back in Connecticut to see her off. Much love, Chip
